Fav Photo

I must have posted this picture before but I don't care. She just looks so angelic here. Melts my heart each time I see it.

For those who are at least 0.01% interested to know about my well-being. (I'm Spencer just in case it slipped your mind) I have been busy lately in the right and meaningful way. For the uninformed, I have been a search consultant for 3 weeks now so I guess I could be of use, not just as a friend. Hmmm....

Bomb the base

Ellie's latest facial expression of fashion is the "stick your tongue" out look. She just keeps doing that for a spurt and as sudden as she started, she stops doing it and no matter how you engage her, she wont repeat again. She's just so cute when she does it and my my, she does have a nice long tongue.

Other than Ellie's latest nuance, her happy front is punctuated by her difficult bowel movement. Have you experienced going 6 days without bombing the toilet, having that proverbial "plug" right up your alley, cringing your face while seemingly feeling your colon about to give up and burst out? I am sure Ellie felt that, but she could not articulate to us. We gave her whatever we could think of and her doctor's suggestion but just short of having a suppository unceremoniously stuff up "there". You could see her trying hard to push and after failing, she would cry out and that hurt, not just for her. But alas, her colon decided to play ball and she passed her motion yesterday afternoon. How relieved she was and how very happy we were for her. Personally, without taking the dump for a day would kill me. Constipation can be your worst enemy.

The little piggy in Ellie's embrace is actually her favourite toy and it is also a toy specially bought by Daddy when she was 7mths old in mummy's tummy. And doesn't Ellie's seat look oh so comfy? Its a gift for Ellie's 1st month from our great bunch of SPASU friends... :)

7 months liao...

7 months... and we know that we can't possibly keep track of her progress on a monthly basis but we can't help expressing our love through this little bundle of joy. We brought her out shopping today (what else) and bought her a stroller/pram. And its really not cheap to own one and one of the the reason why its so expensive for a stroller is probably that it has a name synonomous with a certain Formula One race team. But seriously, it doesn't come cheap even though its ingenius to mechanically design a pram while keeping it safe riding for your precious one. Well...its a gift from us to Ellie and it so happens to coincide with her 7th month special day and mark the journey of her life in the safest and most comfortable way we can afford.

So anyone interested to contribute to "Ellie's Progress in Life Fund"? Guaranteed return rate of 5 kisses and hugs (take your pick)annually if your capital exceeds US$10K for the 1st year.
