Dinner @ Big (not literally) Mai Po's place...

Ellie's probably wondering what the commotion is about...but seriously, to have her looking at the camera today is considered a blessing as she was pretty grouchy after a "nightmare" during her afternoon nap time. Woke up pretty much on the wrong side of the bed and started PMSing in a babyness way. But poor thing had to endure Big Mai Po's incessant kissing later part of more than 2 glasses of wine. And yes, as usual on MSN, young Mai Po was crying foul over the kisses all over Ellie.

We also celebrated Aunt Evelyn's birthday and Happy Birthday from all of us!!!

Strawberry Shortcake Ellie

Just after a nice bath, feeling so much lighter and not oppressed by the incessant cloud of heat having over the weather these days. Its just so darn hot and humid in S'pore. Morning can be a rainy affair with the afternoon turning into a tumultous fling with the hot sun. So I guess Ellie's not complaining with the aircon blasted and having her cooling bath by Daddy.

Ok sorry I know it reads like a real bad class of rap act. So you know its from the father and not her since its way too uncool. Her angelic appearance does look so cute right, something out of Shrek when the Pussycat did the pleading look. (if you have watched Shrek, you would know what I mean)

We took a couple of shots using the timer and were pleasantly surprised that Ellie gamely posed for the camera. Seems like her intuition for glamour time is getting pretty well tuned! And yes, we did not prop her up but she used her own strength to push herself up and say cheese at the same time. Well, maybe not cheese but she did look intently at the camera snapping off. With her between us, so now the question is who does she take after? Me or her or basically resembles either one of us?

I think Daddy's has had enough limelight on his wish list so its back to the star of this blog. By the way, I am only 5 months old and not sure how I can be so strong and manage to keep still in that upright position while daddy snaps a picture of me. Gadgets . Men . Gadgets . Men . Gadgets. Maybe Women

The intrinsic desire of a man can sometimes be attributed to his yearning of gadgets or boys toys as its popularly known. Its inexplicable most of the time why we feel this way just like why do women love flowers, shoes, shopping as much men loves cars, cash and in a word boys' toys. Fathom is a word that describes the situation aptly without offering any plausible explanation to the anomaly which we observe. Yes....I don't really know where I am heading with the gibberish above but my point has been taken I hope, on what gadgets from the wonder fruit company (which has been chewed off one corner by a fanatic) can do to my soul and overall well being. But happy to say, that it keeps me alive by pumping blood at a faster rate whenever Steve Jobs releases his much vaulted keynotes.

So for the uninitiated....nevermind.....my wish list is as above.

" Ooohhhh.....here I am sitting majestically in my new Fisher Price throne, waiting for that first taste of gold on my dainty little lips, how eager my face must seem to the peasants who claim to be my parents. (hmmmm...they are my parents!) Come on, come on, bring that silver spoon right up to my mouth, don't make me wait any longer otherwise heads will have to roll! ..........(once the first taste hits the palate)........Oh my goodness! GIVE ME MORE!!!! Tell the peasants in the cookhouse to whip up more of the wonderous delicacy.......................................................................................(after 10mins).........................................(after 15mins)....................................Buurrrppppppp......ah....pardon my royal burp. I think I must have finished up a good portion of the month's ration but heck, who cares, I am not paying anyway. Now that I have made a mess of my princess clothes, its time for me to get cleaned up and ponder the enjoyment of that 1st taste of "gold" cereal. (Yawning...)
