Love at First Sight.....

Prologue
You know what they say....when parents get back back from home with their day full of daily mis-mash churning in the head, the thoughts of "what ifs", the conversations you had with your superior (where you had to agree with tact even though its the exact opposite), the fire-fighting schedule where all issues seems to be challenging for the top priority spot. But just as sudden as the rain stops with the sunshine piercing brightly through the forlorn clouds, the sight of that little bundle of joy smiling/crying/stoning/or testing the limits of your patience "act" just parts a line down the mass of meaningless "data" cloud and opens things up in that brain of ours. Nope, definitely have not reached that point yet but I am sure I will because as I was cruising back home tonight after reluctantly leaving her alone at the hospital, I could feel that sort of happiness building up a tinny bit. Its like, "is it love or not" type of feeling, poking mildly at your heartstrings and sending some hormonal (decent ones) cells vibrating and racing up your spine to a certain location in your brain. To me, its priceless, its what I would call love at first sight, more aptly put, fatherly love at first sight.

I love you my dearest Ellie.....from your father...... and of cos mummy.

We love you our darling Ellie......Daddy Spencer & Mummy Evelyn
